Fixing points calculator
Count evenly spaced fixing points and whole packs.
Metric units as labelled. Prices, where used, are in EUR.
Method and limits
Intervals per row = ceiling(length in cm ÷ maximum spacing). Include both end points: points = intervals + 1. Multiply by rows and pieces per point; add allowance and round pieces and packs up. Shared row ends are counted separately. No load capacity or anchor suitability is assessed.
Worked example
With the editable starting values: 16 pieces including reserve. 7 points per row × 2 rows = 14 points · actual spacing 40 cm · 14 pieces before reserve · 1 box of 20 (20 pieces purchased). Does not assess strength or suitability.
- Length of each row (m): 2.4
- Maximum point spacing (cm): 40
- Number of equal rows: 2
- Pieces of one type per point: 1
- Purchase reserve (%): 10
- Pieces per box: 20
