Estimate rolls with pattern repeat and trimming.
Measure and prepare
- Check the units shown for each input. Measure the actual inside dimensions or net area required by this tool.
- Use manufacturer coverage, dose, pack size or your measured flow where applicable. Do not treat example inputs as product recommendations.
- Check the assumptions below, update the starting values and review whole-unit purchase rounding where applicable.
Method and limits
Wall height plus trimming is rounded up to a complete pattern repeat when a repeat is supplied. Count whole strips per roll, then round rolls up. Assumes straight matching, constant height and no reuse of offcuts.
